Darleen launched her High Performance Coaching business two years prior to reaching out and was looking for a personal branding shoot with dynamic images that visually represented her content strategy for the upcoming year.
THE BRIEF: A full day shoot with multiple outfit changes representing professional but relaxed coaching, both online and in person. Images that captured Darleen’s personal love of reading and Podcasts as well as product images that represented a holistic, trustworthy and progressive approach to her work. Darleen wanted to evoke feelings of roundedness, alignment, transformation, trust and incorporate a feminine & Masculine balance.
THE SHOOT: Darleen & I collaborated on a mood board and our search for the right location lead us to the fabulous Missionworks in Hammersmith, London. A converted church full of high ceilings, meazzine work spaces and hanging plants a plenty! It tied in well with a favourable Scandinavian vibe and offered a multitude of textures and settings for outfit changes, client interactions, headshots and relaxed portraits both inside, and out. Darleen bought a friend along to share the experience with, who also doubled as a client model for interactive shots. We had an incredible time exploring options and with a well prepared shot list, plenty of insightful conversation around our journeys into our second careers and motherhood alike, Darleen left with a beautiful portfolio of varied images.
