As a trained Yoga teacher, starting her own business from a Haslemere Studio, Rachel wanted to launch her website with branded photography that reflected the dynamic and energising classes together with her supportive & welcoming personality.
THE BRIEF: Images that are modern, elegant and simple in style, which can be used for both website and social media content. A style which embodies Rachel’s friendly and open persona.
THE SHOOT: Rachel had organised a number of students to be present for the shoot. We all met in this bright and beautiful studio in Haslemere where Rachel hosts her Power yoga classes. Three walls of mirrors offered up its challenges for both composition and lighting on the day but meant we were flowing through poses, individually for Rachel’s portraits and also as a collective for the ‘in class’ teacher based shots.
As a trained Yoga teacher myself, considered poses come as second nature which allowed me to keep everyone relaxed and moving whilst focusing on the technicalities of the photography!
